The 2026 Chevrolet Traverse offers three rows of seating and cargo flexibility for families in Saskatoon. This midsize SUV provides space for up to eight passengers along with technology features and safety systems. Available at Saskatoon Motor Products Chevroat, the Traverse handles daily driving and longer trips across Saskatchewan roads. All-wheel drive availability helps with winter conditions common in the region.

The 2026 Traverse continues with the same platform from 2025. Key features that return include three-row seating configurations, standard all-wheel drive, and a 17.7-inch diagonal touchscreen with wireless connectivity. The powertrain and trim level structure remain unchanged for this model year.

Such an increase, especially the 19% increase in torque, provides the Traverse with ample power for various driving conditions, from city commuting to highway cruising while improving fuel economy in the process.

The Z71 model, tailored for off-road adventures, features an advanced twin-clutch AWD system. This system is specifically designed to optimize traction and handling in off-road driving conditions, making the Z71 a competent and reliable companion for outdoor excursions. Additionally, the new Traverse offers a max trailering rating of up to 5,000 pounds.

Technology

The 17.7-inch diagonal colour touchscreen runs the infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Six USB ports come standard across all three rows for device charging. Available features include a Wi-Fi hotspot and wireless device charging. The RS trim includes a standard Bose premium 10-speaker audio system. Safety technology comes standard with Chevrolet Safety Assist, which includes Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert, Following Distance Indicator, IntelliBeam High Beam Assist, Front Pedestrian Braking, and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning. Additional standard features include Side Bicyclist Alert, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Blind Zone Steering Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Braking, Reverse Automatic Braking, and Rear Park Assist. An HD Rear Vision Camera comes standard, with HD Surround Vision available. The RS trim includes walk-up and exit lighting animation with sequential and swipe turn signals.

Exterior

The front end features LED headlights with automatic on/off functionality and integrated LED daytime running lamps. The LT trim comes standard with 18-inch Grazen Metallic machined-face aluminum wheels, while the Z71 features 18-inch high-gloss Black machined-face wheels with all-terrain tires. The RS trim is equipped with 22-inch high-gloss Black-painted aluminum wheels. Roof rails come standard across all trims. The rear styling incorporates LED taillights, with the RS trim featuring animated lighting. The AutoSense Power Liftgate comes standard on all trims, opening automatically based on key fob proximity. Ground clearance measures 172 mm (6.77 inches) on LT and RS trims, while the Z71 offers 197 mm (7.76 inches) for off-road capability.

Interior

The dashboard centres around a standard 17.7-inch diagonal colour touchscreen infotainment system with physical controls for climate functions. An 11-inch diagonal configurable Driver Information Centre provides additional displays. Seating comes in Premium cloth or Evotex on the LT, while the RS features leather-appointed surfaces. The LT offers 7-passenger seating as standard with second-row captain’s chairs, with an optional 8-passenger configuration available. The Z71 and RS come standard with 7-passenger seating. Seven-passenger configurations include second-row captain’s chairs with SmartSlide for easier third-row access. Cargo space behind the third row provides 648 litres, expanding to 1,603 litres with the third row folded and 2,764 litres with both rear rows folded. Interior storage includes a pass-through console design, side-by-side cup holders for the driver and front passenger, and storage throughout all three rows.

Versions

The lineup starts with the LT trim, which includes the 17.7-inch touchscreen system, 11-inch Driver Information Centre, tri-zone automatic climate control, wireless charging, AutoSense Power Liftgate, 8-way power driver seat, and roof rails. Standard trailering equipment is included. The Z71 adds off-road capability with an Advanced Twin-Clutch AWD System, off-road tuned suspension with skid plate, Terrain Mode and Hill Descent Control, 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, front recovery hooks, HD Surround Vision, and Z71 badging and embroidery. The RS represents the top trim level with Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology (3-year trial included), leather-appointed seating with Red accents, 22-inch wheels, black-out exterior styling, Special Ride and Handling suspension, One-Touch Fold second-row and power-folding third-row seats, Bose premium audio, ambient lighting, and walk-up/exit animation with sequential turn signals.
